Ms. Ester graduated from Howard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She went on to attend Wayne State University Law School as a Damon J. Keith Scholar. While at Wayne, she participated in the Public Service and Judicial Externship Programs, achieved first runner up in the Jaffe Transactional Law Competition, served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, and was selected to be the inaugural Denise Lewis Fellow, a role which allowed her to establish a program geared towards promoting excellence and mentorship for students of color. Taylor also clerked for the Honorable Gershwin A. Drain and Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Stafford at the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Ester graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2021.
