On December 22, 2025, Judge Berg of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan granted final approval of a $150 million class action settlement to reimburse owners and lessees of certain Chevrolet Bolt vehicles that were sold with allegedly defective batteries that led to vehicle fires, limited charging capabilities, and parking restrictions.

Miller Law, together with co-lead class counsel, litigated the case aggressively for more than 5 years against some of the wealthiest corporations and largest law firms in the world. After filing a 323-page complaint and defeating multiple motions to dismiss, Miller Law was able to obtain the highest auto defect class action settlement in Michigan history, achieving substantial benefits for consumers across the country.
