The Miller Law Firm has opened an investigation into the automaker Stellantis regarding an alleged data breach. Known for its brands Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and Fiat, Stellantis acknowledged this week that it had detected unauthorized access to a third-party platform that supports its North American customer service operations, and which holds customer data.
While the number of impacted customers remains unknown, the alleged data breach may have compromised customer data including basic contact information. Stellantis customers, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM and Fiat consumers should be on alert of any unexpected or suspicious calls, texts, or emails, which may be phishing attempts designed to defraud or exploit individuals.
If you or someone you know believe that your information may have been compromised, such as by receiving a data breach notification letter from Stellantis or any of its affiliated companies, contact Miller Law to understand your rights, including possible legal remedies.
