The Miller Law Firm is currently investigating allegations that St. Clair Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine experienced a data breach which compromised sensitive patient data.
On November 24, 2024, St. Clair Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine detected suspicious activity within their network and confirmed the data breach on December 9, 2024.
An investigation into the data breach revealed that approximately 1.2 TB of data was stolen from St. Clair Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine’s servers. The compromised data includes sensitive patient information, including medical details, contact information, health insurance and claim data, billing information and other personal identifiers. It is estimated that the data of approximately 340,000 patients was compromised.
