Overview
Emily Honet is an Associate Attorney at The Miller Law Firm. Her practice currently focuses on complex commercial and class action litigation.
Prior to joining The Miller Law Firm, Ms. Honet served as Corporate Counsel for a global property restoration company.
Ms. Honet received her law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2021, where she was twice designated a Bronze Key Scholar for outstanding academic achievement. While in law school, Ms. Honet was actively involved in the Moot Court program. As a junior member, she was selected to compete in the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law, before going on to serve as Co-Director of In-House Competitions. Ms. Honet also served as a Senior Note Editor on the Journal of Law in Society, where her Note, The Prevalence of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Family Courts: What Michigan Courts Should Consider in Child Custody Analyses, was selected for publication. Ms. Honet received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2017.
Ms. Honet is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
